The Molecular and Cellular Cognition Society (MCCS) is an international organization intended to facilitate interchanges among laboratories in the field of Molecular and Cellular Cognition. The other two key goals of the Society are to promote the study of the molecular and cellular basis of cognitive function, and to educate the general public on key findings in the field, including their limitations and implications for health and society.
Seventh Annual MCCS meeting in DC, November 13-14, 2008. To register click here. The meeting will survey recent discoveries in the field of molecular and cellular cognition. A Wine and Cheese poster session (6:30-9:30PM, 11/13/08) and a symposium (9:00 AM-6:00PM, 11/14/08) will be held at the Embassy Suites DC Convention Center Capital Ballroom. Invited speakers include Cristina Alberini, Greg Quirk, Joe LeDoux, Karl Deisseroth, Li-Huei Tsai, May-Britt Moser, Shona Chattarji, Susumu Tonegawa. Several symposium speakers will be chosen from submitted abstracts. You must register for the meeting to submit an abstract. Abstract submission deadline is September 12, 2008.
Third MCCS-Europe Meeting at FENS, Geneva a success with approximately 150 attendees. To view and print program click here.The 3rd MCCS-Europe Meeting in Geneva was a great success with approximately 150 scientists attending from at least 23 countries around the world.
