MCCS - Europe

MCCS is an international organization focused on fostering exchanges in the field of Molecular and Cellular Cognition. Besides our headquarters in North America, we have major branches in Asia and Europe. In Europe, the Sister Society European MCCS (EMCCS) was established first as a MCCS branch in 2004 and then as an independent Scientific Society in 2008. The first meeting of EMCCS took place immediately before the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS, http://fens.mdc-berlin.de/) meeting in Lisbon in 2004. EMCCS holds satellite meetings right before FENS every two years and in addition organizes Winter and Summer Schools. EMCCS is an affiliated Monodisciplinary Society to the FENS since 2008, with voting rights since 2010.
